Think short can be chic and sexy during the holidays! Gone are the times when long hair ruled the red carpet, now it’s about short hair cuts on your favourite A-list women.

As proved by some of the coolest women in Hollywood, ditching longer locks and going for that short haircut is the new chic way to update your look. Bonus: it’s a great way to get your damaged hair back in baby soft condition.

This season it’s been all about the long bob; coined ‘the lob’, obviously. All of those celebs who you’d never expect to go for short hair – think Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Sienna Miller and Kate Bosworth – joined Rose Byrne with the short bob hairstyle look, proving anyone can go for the chop.

Black for the Holidays

In the latest Fashion Week installments for fall/winter 2015/16 around the globe, the most celebrated designers—from Armani to Alexander Wang to Marc Jacobs—are toying with the idea of bringing back black hair—in all shapes and finishes: messy, wavy, textured and even wet.

There is no denying that the Kardashians are still playing a pivotal role in fashion and beauty and they are now sporting much darker hair. Witness the ultra-shiny ebony hair of Kendall Jenner, who has just joined the ranks of the highest-earning models and Kim’s hair went much darker after she dabbled in platinum in the spring.

The newest on-trend crop of blacks isn’t an all-over colour application or a level-one shade. It is different hues to create a multi-dimensional shade that is stunningly gorgeous!  So this holiday season, why not try all out glamour with chic black?
