New Fall Retro Chic
September 27, 2018
A clear trend across high fashion catwalks in the 2018/19 Winter collections, models embraced their natural textures with loose, wavy locks, for a more refined bed-head look. At Stella McCartney, the minimalist approach even meant only two looks were used across all 36 models. This season, the girl-next-door is clearly the girl to know.
As well as a 1960’s hair revival, think the Jackie Kennedy look, whether it’s a big blow-out or a wide black leather headband, or even a punky asymmetric pixie cut, or neon hair colour, the rules for hair this season seem to be from earlier times – retro looks are definitely hot!
More Hot Fashion Hair Colour for Fall/Winter 2018/19
September 13, 2018
Maybe this fall 2018 hair color wasn’t such a surprise but it bears mention, nonetheless. Chestnut brown was huge on the runways. Models strutted down the catwalks with multidimensional, shimmering shades of chocolatey dark brown manes.
While dark brown is a traditional look for the colder months, it is popular for a reason. With a warm base it appeals to most skin tones and looks luscious and prismatic when colored properly. It also offers a beautiful canvas with which to explore more unconventional silhouettes. Plus it pairs perfectly with the dark clothing and urbane mood of the colder months..
Two Hot Colour Trends for Fall 2018

Two Fall/ Winter 2018-2019 Hair Color Trends
#1. Neon Bobs
Pastel neon is having a moment as one of the most intriguing fall/ winter 2018-2019 hair color trends. The look is hard to wear, maybe so, but it’s also hard to hate, and we can see fashion followers everywhere adopting this scintillating trend this month.
Pastels have a kitschy, neo-futuristic appeal that is perfect for the back-to-the-Eighties arcade energy of the season. A neon-pastel bob has a girlish, underground feel that infuses any look with a girl in the know energy.
#2. Redheads
This season, natural red hair is everywhere! Focus on making your natural shade as healthy and dazzling as you can and don’t listen to anyone who says you can’t wear pink, blue, or any other color under the sun!
At Boss, redheaded models let their bright and vivacious color contrast against stark black outfits. At Ann Demeulemeester, red hair was stark, minimalist, and architectural. At Guy Laroche, supple peach-red hair looked refreshing and original.
